Damn I never realized before this moment that the Freakazoid episode "The Cloud" is actually a parody of "The Crawling Eye." @_@ Hey, MSTies in the U.S.! TCM is airing Kitten with a Whip right now! (2 a.m. EST) Has anyone seen the Crow in a garment bag pic Trace mentioned in the Crow vs. Crow panel on the Beatniks DVD? Just curious -- he made it sound like he was going to post it somewhere. Thanks! Servo: Now, Amos Moses was a cajun! He lived by himself in the swamp-- That the actress Peggy Webber was in two MST3K movies? She was the mom in The Space Children and Jenni in The Screaming Skull. TSS is one of my favorites, I've watched it quite a lot, but I've only seen TSC twice, and upon the second viewing, I noticed that the mom's voice was familiar. I thought it might had been the same actress, but they didn't look the same. Turns out it was! The two movies were even made in the same year! (1958) It doesn't look like she was in any other riffed movies, though. If you're a super-duper, super-uber, anal-retentive completist, you might not want to junk, sell, or otherwise get rid of your old VHS, AVI or DAP copies of "The Crawling Eye" just yet... To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, I give you a sketch I wrote last year for a contest on MST3K: The Discussion Board. Got a chuckle out of this - apparently there really is (or was) such a thing as a Lemon Mine in Alberta! Poll #1539313 God I love ANTIQUES. Who is going to be the worm face? You shot my butt! I can't believe you shot me in the butt! Okay, I thought I'd passed them all along but as it turns out I have 2 DVDs from Cheepnis (http://www.mst3k.org/) left: Oh man Shout! Factory, how I love you guys. This news headline totally made me think of "I accuse my parents." Here are some Mike icons that I linked from my scrapbook. Enjoy. Oh come on guys, we're riffing on the movie with the same movie! I was watching The Undead, and during the last part of the movie where the devil laughs, Mike follows it up and ends with "you're stuck here!", calling back a riff from Fugitive Alien. I think this is the largest gap between movies--The Undead being 9th season and Fugitive Alien being 3rd season. Or is there an even larger one? Peter Graves has died. And I ironically just watched The Beginning of the End last night. The European cut of "Devil Doll" (1963, episode 818) has (rampant) nudity! (Link is NFSW) |
